Since performing at the District Showcase, they've attended the World Dance-O-Rama® in New Orleans, and will visit Ohio, and plenty of other cities. They are rock stars, and they tour the world like the Rolling Stones.
Having said that, they've judged, and danced at, their fair share of dance events. They also took the time to provide some great advice to our students. So we thought, "Who better to get feedback from than people that probably attend dance events 50 weeks out of the calendar year?"
Liana and myself can't express enough how grateful we are for both of you and how much fun we had being part at this successful event. It was super fun for us judging the two days because:
Everything was professionally organized schedule-wise, and timing wise. So we didn't feel bored at all. Also, we liked the fact that there were snacks and drinks available for us to keep us motivated. The hospitality was "au rendez-vous"
The teachers and the students were both having so much fun that made it very fun for us to judge.
Because it wasn't contested, it was based more on proficiency - so it was easy.
Huge thumbs up for putting together such a great event. In my opinion, this event was as big as any other big competition in the country considering the number of entries you had, the organization, and the joy everyone had. The only thing I would consider is a larger floor. It was long enough, but I say this is because I am positive next time it's going to be even bigger. So two thumbs up, Congratulations, and keep up the good work.
Love you guys!
Emmanuel and Liana
If you were there, you know. This couple is pretty incredible. In addition to their jaw dropping talent as performers, they are passionate about dancing, teaching, and motivating people to reach a potential they didn't think was possible. This may have been Emmanuel and Liana's first District Showcase, but it certainly won't be their last.
We're just happy we made a good first impression.
