To truly understand the world of Tango, you must make room in your music collection. There should be a good mix of classics, reinterpretations, and, as previously mentioned, some sexy accordian playing.
We asked Argentine Tango consultant, Giuliano Scarpati, to offer his expert advice on building a great collection of Tango music. Here are his recommendations.
Giuliano's Summary:
"You have everything you need here. It’s very authentic music, with a nice clear timing and a suggestive melody. An aspiring tango dancer must be aware that he/she needs to know tango vals and milonga, to be successful on the dance floor. So, thinking about that, here are some of the bests songs ever."
"Desde El Alma" by Osvaldo Pugliese - "A Tango Vals song you will love."
"Tango Negro" by Juan Carlos Caceres - "A Milonga that will conquer you."
"Felino" by Electrocutango - "A great, modern A. Tango you've never heard of before."
