With the Walnut Creek location growing into a top Arthur Murray location since it opened in 2011, multitasking is not an option - it's a necessity. Her presentation to the Office Managers in the area emphasizes tools she has utilized to run an effective front desk.
After assisting with training the winning team in the Arthur Murray All Star Skills competition, Chris was asked to give a keynote presentation with his longtime friend and former co-worker, Juan De Dios Garcia, on ways to develop as an All Star Teacher.
This means that they excelled in helping non-dancers learn to dance, and created dance programs that matched their dancing goals. Members of the staff were invited to speak and share their expertise: Alex Doan, Annaliza Pena, and Sergio Garcia.
With healthy, long-term growth a staple of the Arthur Murray organization, her tips fall right in line to continue to develop new opportunities for staff throughout the company.
The purpose of these training weekends is to constantly move, shape, and enhance the skills to teach dancing the Arthur Murray way. Each and every presenter asked to speak was also in attendance to learn - regardless of their place within the company. An Arthur Murray teacher is a constant student, willing to abandon their comfort zone whether that's as a participant, or a keynote speaker.
